How does your wedding venue help if it rains on your big day?

If you’re off to a wedding today make sure you take a brolly as it’s not looking great for most of the UK. We’ll be at The Sharnbrook Hotel shooting Sue and Barry’s big day and we’re fortunate this venue works with us when the weather prevents guests from going outside for photos and drinks.

It’s essential when looking for a wedding venue you consider the areas not just outside but also inside and check what rooms can be set aside for use when the weather isn’t on your side. A lot of venues hold more than one event so any extra rooms may not be available for you to use on the day.

Regardless of conditions today we’ll still get some great images and video, the rain won’t prevent us from making the best of the inside of The Sharnbrook Hotel, so it’s at times like this when you need experienced photographers and video who aren’t out of their depth when weather isn’t playing ball.

The only down side for us is that we may not be able to fly the drone but if we need to we’ll go back to the venue to get some outside shots to use in the final edit.
